Australian Heritage Restorations completed restoration work on the Mt Victoria Train Driver Barracks, a historic sandstone building dating back to the 19th century. The project involved the removal of the existing roof and replacing it with a new slate roof, as well as extensive repair work to the sandstone walls, which were in a state of disrepair. The building was also repointed using traditional methods and the original timber windows and doors were restored to their former glory.
