Australian Heritage Restorations was contracted to perform extensive repairs on a historic terrace house in Redfern. The scope of work included lime rendering and repointing of the brickwork, as well as repairs to the roof and guttering. Lime render was chosen due to its compatibility with the original building materials and its ability to allow the walls to "breathe," preventing moisture buildup and potential damage. The roof repairs involved replacing damaged tiles and restoring the roof flashing to ensure effective waterproofing. The project was completed on time and on budget, restoring the terrace house to its original charm and protecting it for years to come.
